A cool little thing I found online, Pandora Radio allows you to pick artists you like and then will create playlists based on the music’s “genome”. For example, if you like a song with heavy rock influences, light beats, and a unique voice, the radio will play songs with similar styles of music. It doesn’t go by genre, instead it goes by how the music sounds like. This might confuse some people, but it really makes sense once you use it. It is beyond genre, it’s music based on instrumentation and vocals that you yourself choose that you like.
