Imitation or Reflection?

The “Wooden Mirror,” created by Daniel Rozin in 1999, is in fact, exactly that.
By installing motors behind hundreds of wooden squares, he has created his own version of a looking pond. As the onlooker peers in, their reflection is projected on a manipulated non-reflective surface. In my opinion, this is technology at its best, as it takes on a more organic approach. By taking something so complex, and breaking it down into the bear minimal, he has created something beautiful.
