These are two artworks that can be viewed as using two of the six design principles. The first one, which is called “Eye Love Superflat” by Takashi Murakami can show the third design principle which is Reflect, that causes people to feel emotion to the artwork and the perception of this as well. Takashi Murakami is a well known artist and sculptor who is also very well known in the fashion industry, this artwork piece shows a different perception combining both art and fashion, merging the two to create a very unique piece of art. Takashi Murakami has also used the fashion industry to have more people become knowledgable about different artworks of his, and collaborating with luxury fashion like Louis Vuitton.
The second Artwork which was created by Marissa Brassfield shows another design principle from the six design principles, this installation is called Guten Touch which blended tech and human interaction. The principle being demonstrated is simple, to Participate. The Guten Touch relies on human interaction with the installation to have whatever it is on the screen to move, in the picture, the circles are being moved by the person interacting with the installation. What also impressed me about this installation is how quickly it Brought people together to interact with one another as well as the installation. People would pass whatever was on the screen to another person and the other person would then catch the object on the screen and would spark up an interaction almost immediately. Having tech and human interaction merge together has created a lot of interesting artworks and installations, this one however has to be one of my favorites.
