What is your material philosophy? – When it comes to the material I use, I solely focus on the physical properties. What the material is able to do and what can be made out of it. If a material serves a certain purpose I will use it for that purpose. I do not mess with or experiment with the materials I use.

What is the role of smell in material culture? – The smell of certain things can bring memories and the smells of a material can bring forth those memories. Aged wood is associated to older iteams, while rubber and tar can remind people of being outside on the road. The materials used can be specifically chosen to use memories in collaboration to what is being made.
