A recent software that has changed my view on software is the game “Genshin Impact”,  Because of how vast and expansive the open world is, as well as how it can be played on any gaming platforms, such as PC, mobile and Playstation. Genshin Impact is a open world RPG game where you can explore the game’s fantasy world. It has certain code that I find interesting, such as not being able to go out of the bounds of the world that isn’t yet coded into the game. Every update the game gets expands the map or implements new features into the game that for sure takes a while to code and program but the games developers are able to do it in the matter of a couple of weeks. Other examples of it being a good design choice is every different animation each character has for certain abilties, weapons and their element, not one character feels the same.

The reasoning I chose Genshin Impact is because for only being a year old, it has gathered a huge fan base that admire both its character designs but to make the player feel like they’re in the game with each patch and changes that come to the world, and it has become a comfort media for me in hard times like this. I truly admire the coders, artists and the whole team that put their love and heart into the development of the game and you can tell!
