Materials used:

Aluminum foil

Cotton thread

Tape

Paper

Led lights

4 batteries

Conductive thread

First create the desired character on the paper. 

Concept: My character Luna hands lights up when you touch her hands, and it will glow. Once you touch both hands the hair accessory will also light up.

Cut three holes for the LED lights. Preferably have the holes on the hands to create the effect that the character hand lights up. On the back, cut aluminum foil into squares and tape them together (creating a simple circuit). You have to use 2 batteries since one isn’t enough for the LED to light.

Afterwards you will cut more aluminum foil in squares to create a circle. Make sure it is at least two layers of aluminum foil for the next step. Additionally, have 2 circle aluminum foil and cotton thread. Sew the conductive thread in a circle and put it onto the cotton thread. Repeat for the second circle and place at the bottom of the cotton thread. In between the cotton thread and the foil place a battery in between the foil and cotton like a sandwich. Afterwards, tie the thread onto the LED and when pressing the sandwich it will light up.
